In this Case we were helping International Business Manager from FMCG industry to setup a Sales KPI to one of his managers. First of all we build a Dashboard, based on a raw data obtained from an Excel file.
This Dashboard allows us to analyze Sales Contribution Analysis by product categories (e.g., Automotive, Electronics, Clothing).
Drilling down to Products, we can see that there is only one Product per Category; otherwise, we would see the contribution of each product in the Category to total sales results.
Here we can also see revenue by Country: Visualize total revenue contributions from different countries (USA, Canada, Brazil, etc.)
Mexico accounted for 26,65% of the total sales.
By hovering the mouse cursor over Mexico, I can see That the Sales Rep is Carol Devis, and his Regional Manager is Frank White
Drilling deeper, you can see Revenue Structure in Mexico, so we know that Carol Davis sells mostly Food & Beverages, Home Goods and Automotive.
Sales Representatives Performance: Track top-performing sales reps based on total sales and target achievement.
Because Mexico is the best-performing country in this data set, It is not surprising that local Sales Rep is the best performer, although all of them are showing YoY growth of Sales
I want to take a closer look at territory and Sales Rep Performance. As we remember from earlier, or as we can see from the slicer, the Territory Sales Rep is Carol Davis. I can focus solely on him by choosing his name in a slicer.
Now, it is convenient to analyse Sales Rep Performance. We can also see the structure of Carlos’ sales. Based on the data in the following visual, I would expect Carols' sales results to be equal to last year's Q3 and Q4 results, with at least $158K USD in Q3 2024 and $116K USD in Q4 2024.
